Management Accountant sought by Cristobal & Company in Culver City, California to analyze and interpret statistical and accounting information to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other matters bearing on the company's fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness; analyze financial details and prepare reports that outline the company's financial position; develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting; review and recommend enhancement to financial policies and procedures following generally accepted accounting principles; prepare management operation report, and financial statements; manage cash flow, track the company's liquidity position, monitor the company's budget performance, and analyze significant variances; develop and execute financial strategies set by the client; maintain the client's financial books and records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, standards, laws and regulations; implement and maintain accounting system controls, approval process, documentation, and handle the accurate preparation and timely submission of all accounting/financial/business performance reports and information requested by the directors, management, external and internal auditors, tax preparers, depository banks, and other parties.
Requires a Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, and one (1) year of experience in job offered, Financial Analyst, Auditor or related occupation, analyzing accounting information to appraise operating results based on Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); reviewing financial policies and procedures; including internal control policies; and, executing financial strategies.
